How Your Data is Collected:

Signing up for the Shop it Cheap® service provides us with your name and email address collected when you sign up for opt in regular newsletter on new upcoming discounst and promotions. After a subscriber enters his/her name, email address, data is transferred to our server.

With Whom will information be shared:

Shop it Cheap, holds all data gathered in strict confidence. Under NO circumstances will your e-mail address be sold to, supplied to, or otherwise made available to any third party. However, if you select to have one of the 'opt-in' advertisers to send you offers and emails to your email address, then we supply them with your name and your email address. Otherwise, they are never given your personal email address, and you can opt out from their emails whenever you wish.

IP Address:

We only track your ip address whenever you visit shopitcheap.com. However, if you click on our affiliate link via thir party tracking system, you ip will be recorded by them for transaction and other marketing values. We however, will not hold any responsibility or whatsoever once you are trafficed to third party system or advetiser website.

Security Measures:

Employees are made aware of our privacy policy and practices by reviewing this statement upon hire.  Access to user data contained in the database is limited to select members of our organization.  Passwords are changed regularly to provide additional protection.

Tell a Friend:

You can send email to your friends to let them know about the site.   The friend will not receive further communication from the site above and beyond the initial email sent.

Log Files:

We do keep track of user IP numbers and log browser type, access times, and domain names.   We do not tie this information into any personal information.

Notification of Changes in the Privacy Policy:

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email.  You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.   In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our web site notifying users of the change.  In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.

Subscribers can opt-out at any time from merchant newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletters sent by them.

If you opt-in for a newsletter listed on the signup form from ShopitCheap, and you try to opt out of the newsletter that you opt in for, in some cases you may have to confirm your opt out by emailing us at contact@shopitheap.com.

Privacy of Information

ShopitCheap will cooperate with law enforcement and other legal authorities in investigating claims of illegal activity and to report to law enforcement officials any suspected illegal activity.

Shop it Cheap will not release any personally-identifiable information regarding its Users to any third party except to the extent necessary or appropriate to cooperate with such law enforcement or other legal authorities, to comply with applicable laws or regulations or in legal or administrative proceedings where such information is relevant, according to the selected options of service listed on the signup page, or to properly provide the ShopitCheap Service, operate or maintain its systems or protect itself or its customers.

ShopitCheap reserves the right to terminate any subscriber if we learns that such User has provided ShopitCheap false or misleading registration information.
